Travel Buddy Driving and Non Driving
This is a voluntary post at an operational level, supporting communities and the vulnerable and/or socially isolated people within these communities to access local activities to relieve social isolation.
What skills do I need?
A friendly, positive and approachable manner Ability to be empathetic, patient and calm Ability to work well within a diverse team Ability to follow instructions Ability to act on own initiative Excellent communication skills Pro-active, respectful and attentive to client needs Physically able to be active Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including English language Commitment of one shift weekly for at least 6 months

Travel Buddy Volunteers must be aged 18 years or older. - DBS check required
An enhanced DBS check is a requirement for this role. CTS fund this for our volunteers. - Disability and Access Support

Reasonable expenses should be agreed in advance with the coordinators. Mileage is paid at 50 pence per mile. - Health and Safety Policy

Availability Details
Travel Buddy Volunteers are required throughout the week and during office hours 09.00 - 17.30.
